Questions on R sport gauges 200

I bought a set of R sport gauges that someone has done a real job on rewiring.
While trying to sort that mess out, I've decided to take the whole thing apart and clean/paint it.

The clear plastic over the gauges has become somewhat cloudy and I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to remedy this?

Also I need to get a new VDO oil sending unit. I have read conflicting things about what type I need. The gauge reads 10 bar, but I have read that the sending unit needed is a 5 bar, which is then doubled?
So far I have only been able to find a VDo 5 bar sender.
So if anyone has any insight in this matter please help me out. Or if you know where to get the proper sender, that would help too.
