fuel pump keeps running 200

I went outside to get my mail and heard a noise from underneath my 86' 245, which I assume to be the fuel pump. I put the key in, and turned it on and back off, and it stopped, only to spontaneously start again. Is this the relay I have heard so much about? Should I just buy a new one(how much) or can it be repaired? I don't want to have to disconnect my battery everytime I go somewhere.
