Hazard Switch 200 1991

Installed new radio in '91 245. Now both hazard and defroster switches inoperable - at least the hazard works when I push it 1/2 way down, right side only, but the defroster it totally not working. Left and right directionals are fine. I replaced the hazard toggle switch, but no good, it's not the switch. What's going on here?
