Engine vibration & gasoline smell at highway speeds - '70 145 B20B 140-160

Howdy,

I have no idea why this is happening, but at about 65mph I get considerable engine vibration and a strong odor of raw gas; it sounds like the engine's fixing to come apart. I don't have a tach, so I don't know the RPM's when this happens. Any ideas?
