Bilstein Econo TC's shocks/struts?? 900 1993

I need to replace the shocks/struts on my 1993 945 Turbo (180k) soon. I was thinking about the Bilstein Econo TC's. Ipd has 'em for like $240. The rears look pretty straight foward to replace. I've done front struts on my '83 GTI before, all I need is a spring compressor right? Would I get a complete unit or is it an insert? Thanks for your help....
