Thanks for all the help and advice. This is regading my girlfriends 240 that took a long time to start after a very cold night.
After watching the problem for a while, it looked like the computer was at fault because if the car sat in the sun (interior warming up), it would start fine.

I have a updated computer on long-term loan and the starting characteristics with this computer are different.
