O.K, it's one of those words from childhood (just after the earth cooled) without a definition, but which means about what it sounds like.
'79 244 won't start.
1. I checked spark, it's o.k.
2. The injectors don't put out any fuel when I crank the engine.
3. When I bypass the fuel pump relay and raise the air flow sensor plate,
the injectors put out fuel.
4. I tested the fuel pump relay according to the Bentley Manual and
according to the tests, the relay is o.k.
What is the next step? Are the tests for relay function definitive, or could it still be faulty. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim Hampton
