recycle button usage 200

This is more of a curiosity question.
Of the standard air flow buttons (ie: floor, defrost, recycle), ... the owner's manual implicitly states not to depress the recycle button when the heater is in use. Just wondering, why? What damage may arise if you set the system to recycle with the heater blowing?
