Tail-light lenses 200

Busted tail light lenses on my wagon.Brake light on one, reverse lens on the other. Contacted dealership to get replacement lenses only to be told I have to buy the whole freakin tail light assemblies.@ $350 Australian dollars each no way.Any ideas? I can't believe Volvo would take this approach to a minor replacement.Seems out of character.
