ANTI-FREEZE 200

Went to get some extend-life coolant today so I could flush the system while changing the H2o pump. Gal at NAPA told me the only extended-life coolant out there is produced soley for GM vehicles and will damage a cooling system that isn't GMC, 98' and newer.

Anybody know why? All I got was the "empty kitchen" look when I asked her how come. Anyone know of a good extended-life coolant that will maintain anti-coorrosive properties without additives each year?
