clutch probs - bump just before clutch is fully engaged?

I have had the clutch replaced in my 740(b200e) after original volvo clutch was slipping,It was a disaster after a machanic recommended to me by a friend fitted a non gunuine clutch.almost straight away the clutch on starting the car cold bumped just before full engagement. The mechanic has gone bankrupt and has left the premises so no guarentee!! so I decided to spend £450.00 at speeds volvo as they said the bump was down to a poor quality clutch, now I have a genuine volvo clutch fitted by speeds volvo and I still have a bump although not as bad and it does dissapear as car warms up.you may ask the question - why not take it back to speeds? well after they fixed my manifold gasket they left bolts/nuts loose and my distributor lead pushed on half way.leaving me afew days later stranded on a car park with the AA. I DONT TRUST SPEEDS VOLVO!!! any responses from people who actualy care about the work they do would be very helpfull.
