Does a '91 740 regina car have .......'power stage' ? 700

just wondering / still chasing very random engine cutting off concern.
will restart and drive fine after 1-2 min, does it 3-4 times weekly.

did rpm sensor, wiring falling apart top of sensor, but still cutting off.
I have fuel pump and radio sup relays on the way from FCP, will see.

will fuel PSI regulator do this ? or does it usually just die completely?

also have good leak at distributor seal, will oil get inside ?, can wiring
in distributor be replaced when doing seals ?
