Can 15' 960 Alloys Be Made to Fit a 940 ?

Recently bought 5 Polaris 15" 960 alloys believing they would fit my wife's 940. Had tyres fitted to them and balanced. All went well till time to fit them.
I don't swear often but couldn't help myself. They didn't fit !

Markings on these wheels are 6J x 15 x 43. Checked the alloys on my 940 they are 6J x 15 x 25.

Can I use spacers to make them fit ? If so what dimension do they need to be ?

Unfortunately I can't return these wheels. Selling them is also a big problem as we do not have many 960s in Australia.

All thoughts/help will be greatly appreciated.
