Do all b230 motors have the accessory shaft to run block mounted dist ?

Do all B230 motors have the accessory shaft to operate a block mounted distributor ? I am putting the B230 motor from my 90 740 (totalled) into an 89 240 (thrown rod) The cam driven dist on 740 block wont clear the firewall, so I need to plug it and use the block mounted dist from the 240 motor. I need to know if the 90 740 b230 motor has this "accessory or intermediate" shaft with gears to drive my 240 dist. Thanks for the help, Jack in Dallas
