A nod to Don Foster's dishwasher, and its frequent mention... filled with dirty distributor caps, wires, etc.

FYI: In yesterday's Fixit column in the local paper it was reported that when winter-time road salt dust "collects on the porcelain insulators of power lines, it can cause power failures." Jeez! (I know the Fixit columnist, and she does her homework.)

The things that electricalicity won't do!
