My power steering return hose on a 1980 242 is seeping/weeping and in need of replacement. This appears to be an ordinary hose, oil resistant, reinforced for low pressure,no special fittings. Volvo wants garbonzo bucks for this ($45+). Anything wrong with using generic, good quality hose from an auto parts dealer for this ? For about $10 ? What size ?
