sigh...It's R134a conversion time. 700 1991

This has always proved to be a PITA that yeilds disappointing results on nearly every car I've owned.

I already plan on buying the volvo kit: # 9145660-8
I would also like to go for the Varible Orifice Valve, as recommended in the FAQ. But I'm not sure where to buy one. Also, are they universal?

I have access to a vacuum pump and manifold guages (already evacuated the R-12 from the system, got .75lbs out)

Another question, how do I drain the oil from the compressor? Is there a convenient drain plug on the bottom or will I have to remove it (sounds like a pain.) Then how do I add the new ester oil? Through the reciever dryer?

Hopefully I can get this done before it starts getting hot out!

Thanks guys!
