Did I buy the wrong A/C replacement hose? 200

Got a 89 240DL with old freon A/C system and old baffle/muffler hose that goes across the front of the condenser. I ordered what I thought was a replacement hose. The old hose with baffle is only 2'. What I got was a 5' hose. Did I buy the correct hose? Or is this new hose designed to replace two hoses? I am thinking that this new hose is maybe designed to go from the compressor ALL the way to the condensor. Anyone out there know? Thanks.
