Does anyone know if the ABS circuit diagram of the "Volvo 740 & 760 1982-1988 Haynes manual" (page 212) has any misprints. I have found other mis-information in the book (including one,right on the diagram in question).
I cannot get the impulse converter to work when wired as in the diagram.
I question the following....
pin #2 on the converter indicates it is 'S' - connected to the brown wire (ground)
pin #5 on the converter indicates it is 'SE' - connected to the green-white from the sensor
Does this sound correct? Are these two maybe swapped? Should the green-white signal go to 'S' and the ground go to 'SE'??
The other two inputs are somewhat easy -
-in #6 is labelled "15" as the 12 Volts supply comes from terminal strip 15
-pin #3 is labelled "T" and goes to the speedo
This is my last ditch effort before I give up on this converter idea. I don't understand why it would not work.
