small coolant leak 140-160 1974

I found a small coolant leak today. It saw a small puddle sitting on the water pump right behind the fan. There was just a tiny bit of coolant sitting there on top of the pump. I can't tell where it is coming from, it looks like it is coming from up a little higher where the thermostat is housed but I can't tell for sure. Has anyone had this happen before? Anyone have a clue where this could be comming from? If it is something that needs to be addressed before it gets worse I want to take care of it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
