John-

Found the vac leak on the 760-T. It's the little hose (looking across the engine from passenger side fender at intake mani- there are three hoses on the right and two to the left- it's the little one on bottom left.) that runs out of the intake manifold and attaches just ahead of the 2 inch hose coming over the head from the turbo. If I take off the end where it attaches by the hose, it stops the noise (an obnoxious high pitch vibrating) and it's sucking air in when I put my finger over it. When attached it stops if I pinch it. No leaks in it that I can find. What's its purpose and why is it making that noise? I was trying to figure it out by looking at my 2-series shop manuals. Ha, ha, snort....try to fly a stealth fighter by reading a Cessna manual! Thanks again. -J

Any guess why I avoid engine work? Traumatized as a child I suspect!
