Replacing Mirror Glass 900

I need to replace the glass in both side mirrors on my '93 945T (power mirrors with heated glass). I've removed the glass from the mirror assembly (a job made easy thanks to the FAQ). My local glass place says they can do the job for $32 per side -- and that I'll still have heated glass!!! Is this right? Can they do this procedure without affecting the heating element?
