Check engine code when wet? 200

I have been getting a check engine code from the OBD I fuel injection
side of 1-2-3 which is coolant sensor fault? But this only happens
following a high pressure car wash or driving in the blinding Texas rain.
Why is this happening during these wet conditions and what can I do
to fix it? the car continue to run perfectly fine with the light on. thankyou in advance for any thoughts on this.
