Uneven brake wear at rear 200 1989

I'm about to replace the rear discs on my 240, the mechanic who looked at the car when i bought it said that the left read disc had 5% left and the right rear had 10%. Should i worry about this? I've asked two mechanics about this, one said this is a sign of a defective caliper (and suggested i replace the rear calipers) another told me to not worry about it. What do you think?
