Hello folks,

760 Fuel Pump relay. I've read the FAQ and that seems to describe a mechanical type relay which you have a chance of seeing operate if it's working properly. My car has the symptoms of a bad relay according to the FAQ, so pulled it out and opened it up.

It's a solid state relay with no coils......it has 1 Integrated Circuit chip, 1 transistor, 1 capacitor and several diodes on the rear of the board.

The numbers are "1 362 903" then "89 5129 LKG KL3 DOT 12v Germany" on a yellow case.

2 Questions.

1) Can I bypass the relay just to test whether that is the problem. Which contacts need to be bridged to which to run intake and main pumps? I know I'll need to replace it if it is that, but would like to be sure before buying a new one!

2) Is this relay used on other Volvo's, since none of my local breakers have 760's in.
