urgent help needed - sunroof help. 700

I'm posting on my dads account but I'm not him.

he's out of town for the week and I borrowed his volvo. it's a nice sunny day so I opened the sunroof and now it wont close.

I read the FAQ and was able to get it closed turning the motor with a screwdriver. the motor will open the sunroof again but still wont close it.

I'll have to tell him about breaking it anyway. but since I just got my license on tuesday, and this is only the second time I've borrowed the car, I'd rather already have it fixed before he gets back in town and I have to tell him about it.

also, the deflector thing that pops up when the sunroof opens gets in the way when you close it and you have to reach out the window and hold it down to close the sunroof. if I could have that figured out too, then it would be like a bonus and he wouldn't be upset about the other problem at all.
