Amplifer + head unit upgrade...cable adapter? 700

Is there anywhere that one could find an adapter for the DIN cable so that I can continue to use the factory AMP? The head units go bad after a while...1988 760 Turbo, and so the front door speakers sometimes just turn off. I am certain the amp is still fine, and I thought if I get reciever with pre-outs, I could somehow adapt them and send them to the factory amp....is there anywhere that makes a cable that can adapt to the DIN cable? or does anyone know the wiring info for that cable (color of wire for each speaker, and color for remote lead) so that I could just cut it open and do it that way?

Also, if all that fails, where can you find non-used/lightly used OEM radios for cheap?
