Hey gang,
Thanks again for all your input!! I plan on getting all my bushings checked and replaced and hopefully that will alleviate the thuds/clunks soon. I now have another suspension question: Just snagged a set of 15" Draco rims. They are in fantastic shape and it was a deal I couldn't resist even though I had a little trouble parting with the 14" Corona rims (Scary yes!!). I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet (basically brand new Michelin X-Ones on 'em) so we'll see. Anyway, I am now running on Pirelli P4000's (came with the rims) and they probably will need to be replaced soon. My long-winded question is that I'm noticing (feeling in the wheel and hearing sharp road sounds I guess) the smallest bumps especially the oil sealant used on pavement. I realize the Bilsteins are much stiffer but don't remember noticing this with the 14" rims. Is this because the sidewalls on the tires are narrower, or perhaps a front end problem? Could the tires just be lousy which is def possible (loud road noise, handling, etc.)? Thanks so much!!
Best,
Adam
