Hey everyone... okay unfortunate news is well there is no news... issue's still there. Here's where I'm at: (If you haven't checked out my previous post check out "Fuel Filter Replacement... Gone Bad HELP!" It has most of the details).
Here's where I'm at:
Disconnected banjo bolt on the engine side of filter (line that goes to engine from filter) and it's dry as a bone. Meaning there is probably no gas in the filter... we tried to syphon some out to no avail. Also... we had a few ideas... how about air in the lines... will that affect the ability to create pressure? How about the pump is it capable that it went bad in the middle of all this? This is what I'm leaning towards... if it's not the pump... then what could it be? Is there any way to test the pump? Basically I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Here's what I'm debating...
Going to AutoZone and picking up a fuel pump for $85.99 or having it towed and checked out for God knows how much? Any suggestions or clues?
