Visited with an indie tech recently, not my usuall guy. Mentioned that a project for me is to pull the inst. cluster and jump/bypass the temp comp board. He sez not to do that. The board protects the newer low voltage temp gauge. I said something like WOW, and also (to myself) BS.

Do you have any info on that? My temp comp board has an independent mind, makes the gauge useless.
