Dear Guys: Got a lot done on my daughter's 240 today. AC now works like a charm thanks to all your great advice. New question--the windshield has a 1/2" asterisk shaped crack (thrown rock sometime last summer) on the passenger side. I might be imaging things, but the crack seems to have grown in the last week. Can anyone give me info on windshield repairs? How much does it usually cost and is this type of thing fixable? What exactly do they mean by a "repair" (do they squirt in some epoxy or heat seal it??) Or should I just "wait and see" and then replace the entire windshield if necessary? What about junkyard windshields? Are they worth the hassle? (I've put in a rear windshield myself but it was an easy hatch-back model--no worry with seals, etc.) Thanks again. Heidi the Fix It Mom
