'flexi-fan' instead of electric? what is a flexi-fan? 200 1983

Installed GM Delco helper fan after removing mech. setup w/clutch.

A junkyard inexpensive item from an '86 Cutlass, it's dead. Quit in city traffic on a hot day. Lasted over a year and was cheap, one gets what one pays for.

Circuit including dash switch, relay, fuse in holder prior to fan are a okay. I would simply like to screw something similar (it's a 14" model, screw hole distance), perhaps NEW, that could reliably run constantly, like an electric fuel pump etc.

Got on phone to local auto zone to see if i could purchase something new, generic, that would screw in to existing holes.

Gent suggested a "flexi-fan." Any advice or "referrals" for more info?

Thanks all--

Franck
