O.k., so I've had a few o.d. relay problems in the past with my various 240's and it's always been either a bad relay or a blown fuse.
So, when my friend called to me inform me that her 240 didn't shift into o.d. I immediately suspected fuse or relay. She checked the fuse and it was blown. After replacing fuse the relay wouldn't click so I suspected relay. Ordered relay from FCP, installed and relay clicks but o.d. doesn't engage. Tried relay from my 87 and it fried immediately, stupid move. Opened up my fried relay and her old relay and they were both visibly fried at the same points on the circuit board. Bad connection I assume, but where to look?
Any input greatly appreciated!
