How much trouble to change front wheel bearing and kickdown cable? 700 1990

1. My 1990 745 makes a groaning sound on the right font wheel when a lot of weight is put on it. In a left hand turn there is noise. In a right hand turn there is no noise. So, I believe I have a bad right front wheel bearing. How much trouble are they to change. I got one from the junkyard today.
2. Same car 170,000 k. The kickdown cable has come loose and the shifting is suffering. How much trouble are they to change? I ordered a new one from Groton.
