Amazon doors not quite in the frame 120-130

Dear All

Here's a little conundrum which may or may not be relevant. I've driven several RHD Amazons in UK, where we drive on the left. Every one of them has had the passenger door a little stiff to close, and the driver's door a bit too easy to close; so I'm wondering why.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that all the left-hander bends are hard ones and put more strain on the chassis, the bushes etc, perhaps causing the car to become (over 20-30 years!) slightly out of kilter? So what about my colleagues over in US? Do any of your cars have the door problem the other way round? If not then I am truly onto a lost cause.

Best

Tom
