Boost cutout switch ?'s 700 1988

I'm trying to defeat the boost/fuel cutout switch on my 88 740Ti. I've tried searching and the familiar quote "leaves a lot to be desired" pretty much sums up the search feature for this site/forum although it just may be "user error," I've pretty much tried every option on the search and get an outrageous amount of posts to search through(rough on a slow dial-up connection) so figured I'd make a new topic. Anyway(sorry for the rant), what are some good ways to successfully defeat/remove the boost cutout switch all-together? Will unplugging the electrical connector to it get rid of the cutout? I'm heard of some simply plugging the vacuum line to it in order to get rid of it also. Thanks for any replies, suggestions, etc....Also, please no, "running too much boost could damage your engine" replies, I'm fully aware of this and could care less if it does happen, because, in the end, that will mean bigger and better things for my brick.
