I AM HAVING A HORRIBLE TIME replacing the tiny bulb that illuminates the AT shifter. In the grand scheme of things this is SO insignificant, but it has gotten under my skin and I want to get it fixed.
Does the bulb only light when it is inserted? When I turn on the lights the bulb does not go on when it is out of its little hole in the shifter assembly.
I have nearly torn the skin of my hand trying to get this thing to go in, and I have tried using a dentist's mirror and flashlight to see what I am doing, while at the same time using bend needle-nosed pliers and I am ready to kill some one. Help me, somebody!
