Got everything put back together and double checked everything. Then came the time to put it on the road. Had my friend ready with the cam to get the first rolling moments of the job, car wont start, panic quickly ensued. I got juice but no crank. Start to trouble-shoot everything, and make a long story short I forgot about the safty switch from the auto-trans. Fix that and on the next try it starts right up. Pulled out of the driveway and had to thank my father for all those times he made me watch him fix the family car in the snow and cold. So know I have a new trans and all is good for this week. Now I have to find a new project, been thinking about the VX cam setup. Figure its about time to change the timing belt and cam seals, and while I have everything open, what harm can a new cam do???
