Upper strut bar.....does it make a difference 200

Greetings all. I was seriosly contemplating the installation of an upper strut bar on my `93 245. Before I take the plunge, I was wondering if someone could give me some insight on the potential handling benefits. Also, are there any other mfgs who offer them besides IPD??
