Fellow Bricksters:

I'm frugal, and i can't help it. Previously, my mechanic supplied me w/ a used AMM, for my 1989 240, and it seems, less than a year on, it's going bad again. Should i buy new or re-built? And- is there any way to get around the cost there? I've been quoted somewhere near $250 or so for re-built. Any advice would be helpful-
