Installing an Amp in TRunk of 1989 240 Sedan 200

Fellow bricksters, I finally upgraded my soundsystem. The Amplifier has been connected , but I need to fasten it in the trunk. I would like to screw it down with 1 inch metal screws flat on the floor, directly behind my rear seats, in the trunk. I want to make sure that the gas tank isn't located there, or anything else for that matter. Share your thoughts fellow bricksters....
