I busted a bolt (upper right) that holds the exhaust sheild to the manifold. Now she's a rattling. Very annoying and makes perfectly good car sound old. I think the car is bothered too.

Can I

A.) carefully, ala lots of PBBlaster, remove the rest of the bolts and leave the heat shield in the trash heap?

or b.) JBWeld the shield to the exhaust manifold where it rattles (at busted bolt)?

or c.) ez-out the thing without creating a new hole in the manifold.

And will either give me long term problems, like overheating in the compartment because some fancy Swedish airflow has been distrupted with no shield.
