Were all U.S delivered Volvos manufactured in Sweden? 200

Thankyou Alex for pointing out the liason between Volvo, VW and Nissan in the production of those Australian built Volvo cars manufactured at Clayton in the city of Melbourne Australia. Presumably through its concessionaires, Volvo sold thousands of cars across the U.S. Would anyone know if these vehicles were predominantly imported from Sweden or were there any U.S. production facilities wholly owned by Volvo or with similar VW and Nissan affiliations?
