When I get my tranny and oil pump installed, what else should I replace during the job 200

Is there anything else that should be replaced (small) while replacing the tranny and water pump? The tranny is $350.00 and my mechanic is charging me $350.00 to put in the tranny, replace the water pump, seals, etc. Is this fair? I am very frustated right now. I feel like my car is a money trap!
