Sudden no start fixed! 200 1989

Thanks to all who suggested good ideas to follow up, I was able to identify the problem as one Don Foster suggested -- no current through the yellow/red wire from the fuel pump relay to the pigtail lead of the fuel pump. I ran a bypass wire to check on the hypothesis and the car fired up. So I hard soldered one end of the bypass into the yellow/red just upcurrent of the relay, up and over to the console, down under the storage bin, up the driver's side of the console, over to the fuse panel kickplate, down, and under the edge of the carpet to the back floor. I taped off the old input to the pigtail lead. Fires right up and runs nicely.

Thanks to all who contributed good suggestions! I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll be back in touch on this '89.
