New arrival 200 1988

Well, picked up another one today. They keep following me home.
Drove down to Fairfield, CT to pick up a grey 1988 244GL. Typical
package, tan leather, sunroof, tach, 14" alloys. Nothing else really
for options. No cruise. :( No power mirrors. Has heated seats but
the leather's gotta go. Unless someone knows of a nice set of leather
seats....
The thing had barely any power, max speed of 65, and the brakes were
atrocious. Obviously a leak or bad master cyl. Pretty scary actually.
But the body is striaght and sound, and pretty much everything works.
It's just going to need a lot of work to overcome years of "just drive it"
neglect.
I'll keep y'all posted about it's progress to becoming a REAL Volvo.
