740 Tail Lights 700 1989

I replaced the right tail light assembly and now the brake light stays on and goes off when I hit the brakes! I had this once before when I had one of the socket clips under the connector on the circuit board instead of over but now they appear to be correct contacting. Any ideas? Did I possibly mix up the wires? Thanks!
