Confusing Garrett Number / ID 200

I (finally)got to pull my engine (83' 240 B21FT 200,000+ mi.) last nightI bought it one year ago. It just developed a noisy rod or wrist pin. I'll find out what's actually ailing her as soon as I get it unzipped. After I got it on the stand I took a look at the turbo. The shaft has some play in it. (This is a 'bad' thing, right?) And there is a hairline crack (that doesn't look like it has been leaking anything) about 1" long in the exhaust manifold. Ahhh Well... What are you gonna' do, right? ("Honey... your car is going to be in the garage just a [little] bit longer than I thought)

My question/problem is... I can't seem to find any info on my turbo. I'd like to know: What model it is. (I've seen references to T3's, T-40's, T-this, and T-that. But those marks aren't on mine. Also what a new one costs, what a rebuilt one costs, or possibly a repair kit? Maybe??

I'm know my way around an engine, but I'm new to the turbo scene. So "any" help that you can throw my will be greatly appreciated.

This is what I have:

[ID PLATE]
Factory Rebuilt
Garrett / Air Research
SN AIMO 046
PN 465115-9002

[BOOST SIDE]
4139510 92 AIR RESEARCH

[EXHAUST SIDE]
430148 11(?) {I'm not sure about those last two numbers}
JW3
M4

Many thanks,

Wasn't Me!
