I finally bought my transmission today from a salvage company and they will be delivering my used transmission to my mechanic tomorrow morning. The owner indicated to me that there is NO car that can take bangs and hits like Volvos. He said that if I were to sell my car I could never get al the money that I put into it back. He said volvos are cars that you keep or past down the line to relatives. I am actually looking forward to getting my brick back out on the road. I might consider a 1 Day paint job...
