heard a pop and 'BRAKE FAILURE' light came on; am I in trouble? 200

Brickers,

I just finished replacing the calipers on the front of my 89 240 DL sedan today.

I bled the lines but I'm afraid I missed some air.

So when I got in the car to see how the breaks felt, the pedal went down almost to the floor.

I pressed quite hard on the pedal a few times and then it happened.

I heard a pop and the "BRAKE FAILURE" light went on.

Anyone had a similar experience? Am I in for a big job now? Any help is appreciated.
